Ascensia Diabetes Care Engineering Systems Coordinator II in Parsippany, New Jersey

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:• Act as system coordinator for PLM and CAD applications used in the Engineering Services Department• Act as system Coordinator for custom SharePoint applications used in the Engineering Services Department.• Supports CMS software implementation, migration, and upgrades• Supports Blue software implementation, migration, and upgrades• Supports PLM software implementation, migration, and upgrades• Creates documentation, presentations and training guidelines for PCR, ePCT, models, drawings, ECO’s, BOM’s, CMS and Blue as required• Performs end user training and serves as a mentor for the local and worldwide staff• Provides weekly and monthly reports on status of projects for all systems where applicable and needed• Organizes hands on training for new employees worldwide via Skype• Continues education in job related subjects, attends seminars and conferences when neededQUALIFICATIONS:• 4 year degree, diploma or certificate in Information Technology + 2 years of experience or 5 to 8 years of applicable business experience.• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision• Ability to communicate across multiple departments and grade levels• General understanding of engineering systems, user support, engineering change management processes and validation documentation• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with internal team members and external consultantsPreferred Skills:• Autodesk Fusion PLM experience• Vasont CMS experience• Blue Software experience• Microsoft SharePoint development experience• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - Power Point, Word, Excel, Visio
